for those who volunteer to come,
to list and fight the foe today,
over the hills and ...far...away"
Terds' voice trailed off from his song as he finally closed in on the sand storm. Against the light colored sand of the storm itself, still a bit off he saw a shadow that he could only hope was the Onix from earlier, otherwise the city of Haven was in for one hell of a fight. Convincing himself that the shadow were not a threat, at least not to him, Terds speculated that they had finally came in contact with the feral mass, since there was no way the buggy could have caught up with them.
The shadow faded in only a matter of seconds and Terds was once again left alone with the sandstorm and himself, and still he continued onward heading straight into it, not even having thought exactly what he was going to do once he got there. This loneliness was short lived however as on either side of him two bumps formed in the sand, matching speed and direction. He made slight movements, turning the wheel, and still they followed with him, growing still until the sand fell away and they met the surface. Two Golems, limbs retracted within their boulder like shells began ramming the vehicle.
Terds swerved to regain control of the vehicle as the two became more violent slamming it back and forth. Quickly taking in as wide a view of his surroundings as he could, Terds surveyed any other obstacles present or any geological differences that he could use to his advantage. The sandstorm most likely wouldn't provide much help since it would only hinder ones sight and it seemed that they directed themselves by some other means, though off to his left the dunes at the foot of the mountain range may come in handy. He made a hard turn, pulling the buggy onto two wheels, but managing to slam it down on all fours as he slammed his foot to the gas pedal. A slight smiled came across his face as he managed to create a slight gap between him and the two balls of rock, but not enough as to lose them.
"The chase is on."
The third boom came, this time collapsing the roof entirely as Chauncey smashed open the main door to the house and bolted off down the road, towards the Pokemon Center, a small child on his back, arms wrapped around his neck, holding on for dear life. He didn't bother looking back, though he knew full well that the sack was now most likely buried beneath several feet of rubble and large pieces of what was once the child's house.
