Its a wizard, not an elementalist. Apparently, you have an arcane tree ( timestop, reflect, magic m, teleport ) and a lightning tree ( chain, laser ). The fire spells are owned by the wdoc, I'm pretty sure.

Yeah, but that doesn't mean I can't miss the elemental stuff. Besides, the D2 equivalent was a sorceress, not an elementalist, so your point is moot. It was just a design decision Blizz made to change it up, one that makes me sad on the inside. I'll still probably play one, though.

You have to realize this is a new game. If they kept everything the same it'd be retarded.

Edit: My mistake, there is a reflection spell in the trailer.
"Within every world, there are cultures, within every culture, there are groups, within every group, there are leaders. These leaders are not truly chosen, they are destined, it is their fate to lead, and it is this fate that drives them. Souls yearn to be driven, they in themselves can not direct, however, these leaders are predetermined, by whatever means, to guide the wills and mend the errors of these wandering souls. A forest, cold, cured, flawless, meticulous, and fearful, what drives it, what keeps the balance? The inner beings of all the co-existant creatures swarm together, and every one is guided by another, in more a cycle, then a hierarchy. The eyes of a forest are always watching and guiding, yet the sun never sets on the forest, and it never shall." ~ The Chaos Theory

As if I didn't realize that, Storm. That still doesn't mean I can't miss the old.

As far as i can tell shes going to have at least an Arcane tree and a "weather" tree. The weather thing'll make sense if you've watched the blizzcon panels.

What I find funny, is the Japanese/Chinese island on the world map. They're going to make some samurai-sh tribe, lol.

A Samurai class would be epic.

What they really need is an Mayan class. This could be fit into the lore by saying it was diablo who helped them build their society and use technologies that would not be used again for at least another 800 years.

Heh, just look at Kurast in D2. And doesn't the witch doctor suit that well? He's more voodoo, but still.
