I just wanted to ask Dusk, how did you made screen in Doe to become completely black for a while?

I applied a black cinematic fade filter over the screen and then removed it later. You can make the fade filter any image you want, I just chose black because it is a good time for players to catch up with each other in loading the map and not lagging.

And what about text? Is it made somewhere using tempelate <centred> or you just put loads of spaces overthere to stick it in the middle?

You just display text as in-game messages. You can also use a fade filter with text on the filter image itself if you want; that allows more fonts and bubbly letters and so on.
