Dusk in Space
So I was going to just post them all in the image thread, but I have enough pictures that I decided to give them their own thread with wonderful captions.
This is me loading up onto the aircraft. Epicness in the making.
Me taking some measurements on my computer in space. Not to mention I was floating at the time. I tell you, no matter what, you're never prepared for it. It's just way too crazy.
Me trying to get used to floating in microgravity.
My team leader in front with me floating above the floor in this team photo.
I'm taking more measurements, this time quasi-suspended and holding on for dear life.
Me floating upside down flipping out at how awesome it is.
This is one of the first parabolas, so I was totally ecstatic and couldn't contain my excitement.
Pictures of my team's experiment in action -- The mock satellite is floating in the middle of the test enclosure and spinning.
Another angled picture of the experiment in action with more shameless plugs for my school in the shot.
The entire flight in a single picture. See if you can find me!
I'll be totally honest, it was unlike anything I'd ever experienced before. I still can't properly describe it in words it was so intense, the idea of floating free, untethered by gravity is something unlike anything you've ever had the pleasure of feeling. The experiment went great and we got all of the data we needed, so we had plenty of time floating freely and figuring out what it was like. At one point we actually played catch with a water bottle, it was so intense.

Re: Dusk in Space
It was on my computer's desktop background, but the stupid photographers didn't publish the picture I made them take of it, which makes me very sad.

Doe, the first wc3 map that ever went into space. Did you get to pee? How did your balls feel with no gravity? Gah damnit, so many questions related to genitals!
