Re: Contact Juggling
its really too bad that 1 acrylic ball costs around $15 - $20.

Re: Contact Juggling
so what is the point of contact juggling. I mean, sure some of the things they did were amazing, but other things looked like he just held onto the ball and circled his wrists. I must be missing something here so perhaps you guys can clarify...

Re: Contact Juggling
well you guys say he's super amazing but I just see a guy dancing around with a clear acryllic ball, holding onto it and moving his hands around in awkward fashion. Unless that's the point, I'm missing something here..

Re: Contact Juggling
Yes, I understand the obvious point that he has to keep contact with the ball, but merely holding it, like, literally just holding it in his hand, is nothing short of unimpressive any way you look at it. That portion doesn't even seem skillful at all, hell anyone could do some of those things (the balancing tricks make more sense to demonstrate the difficulty of this art; that requires skill and patience, etc etc all that jazz, but the waving your hands with the ball gripped in your hand is nonsense)

Re: Contact Juggling
Maybe you couldn't tell from the videos, but in both of those videos, the ball never stops rolling except when he rested it on a part of the body (Like the elbow). It's also all about the fluidity of motion in how they 'juggle' the ball.

Re: Contact Juggling
If you paid close attention, you would see that he was rolling the ball even when it looked like it was still.
Re: Contact Juggling
Perhaps it might be the bad picture, or the fact that they are acrylic, but that did not seem to be the case. The balls looked stationary, and I couldn't tell they were in motion when they looked to be clasped in his hands...
