You know those "Your message has been posted" and "You have been successfully logged in" screens? I think they're extremely annoying, and I see no argument for them to exist. Is it possible to have an option in the user control panel that disables these.

If I'm not mistaken, there is no possible way to remove this in phpBB of any version.

I could remove it, but I assume the phpbb developers (who are many times better than me at web design) had a reason to implement this; and I don't fully understand the how or why. Until I do, I can assure you it will stay.

I kind of like it and don't understand why you would want to remove it. It's a confirmation screen to ensure that your post went through so you don't have to scroll down and find your post after posting it.

Hm. I didn't like how it forced you to look at a screen when you logged in. Maybe just an option.
