I'd like to see this implemented, especially since my monitor seems to be set on scorching white light. A nice high contrast scheme would be welcome (white letters on black background), not just for me but for all the visually impaired people.

Sounds like a personal problem.
Anyway, I think there's a random default skin with a darker shade of colors.
Or, we can wait for some super cool artist guy to make a skin.

We can download other skins, it just takes a bit of hackery to get the plugins to work properly on them. Gotta wait for Crev's response, really.

I liked my forum's one(yellow-paleish text on black), staring to white (or lite blue, in this case) honestly feels like staring at a light bulb :/

Find some skins you like, post 'em up, and I'll see what I can do.

Anyways, we can use some random ones in the phpBB skin database.

The operative point of this conversation is that Loki forgot the words "I think" in his post and unwittingly made a claim of fact despite afterward declaring it an opinion.

Only maybe more darker like the troll skin on wc3c. Actually I would suggest troll skin on wc3c as optimal but it is on vBulletin.

But yeah, a choice of something dark would be nice.

I've seen a pretty nice skin on other phpBB forums called SFCentar that has a nice dark blue background with white text, it looks pretty nice.
