Favorite Anime?
Alright, which anime is your favorite and why?
I just got Episodes for Mobile Suit Gundam and Zeta Gundam then proceeded to fall in love with Gundam forever. My favorite is Gundam Wing because it was these young kids trying to find themselves in war and battles.

I play TF2.
Ok, so I live on TF2...

My favorites:
Hellsing, Ghost in the Shell, Cowboy Bebop, Bleach. Death Note is alright.

The enemy are in disarray, ride them down as they run
Send them to their violent graves, don't spare anyone
Dead and wounded lie all around, see the pain in their eyes
Over the field an eerie sound, as we hear the raven's cry

Hellsing is definitely my fave.
Gundam was good too, I liked it, though I was kinda young so I don't remember which ones they were.

Re: Favorite Anime?
Outlaw Star, Gungrave, Samurai Champloo, Big-O, Gundam Wing/Endless Waltz, Appleseed.
Outlaw Star: The Idea of Grappler Combat Ships, Unique AI/Bio-Androids, The Caster Gun (#4-What a black hole? GG)
Gungrave: The Ultimate story in how Friendship can truly overcome all obstacles. Mindless Bullet Expenditure.
Samurai Champloo: Intense fighting segments. The Hand of God.
Big-O: The gripping storyline. The robot fighting was bleh for the most part, but the city, the background, the memory segments. Everything else led for questions being answered by questions and Mans ability to come closer to being a God.
Cast in the name of God ... Ye not guilty
Gundam Wing/Endless Waltz: The Zero System, Heavy Arms, Flashy Combat, decent storyline (had some recycled re-runs that lowered the overall greatness of it)
Appleseed: Amazing experimental graphics. Insane weapon segments. HEAD SHOT!

Re: Favorite Anime?
Death Note- Because almost every anime is Pew Pew Pew, Big sword, Big-Mechs and super powers. A change that still leaves you high on suspense is very entertaining. It's like crack...
Hellsing, Bleach, Naruto Shippuden, Eureka 7, Trinity Blood, Fate Stay Night, are all other favorites that would have to come in second place.

I don't watch anime or read manga anymore, but Death Note and Bleach were my favorites when I did.

I don't watch too often, but my favorite series I've watched was by far The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi. Very little fighting, but the storytelling is what made it great for me. Other things have entertained me for periods, but those interests come and go.

Re: Favorite Anime?
Havn't watched any in a while, but ones I liked were...
Cowboy Bebop.
Trigun.
Fullmetal Alchemist.
Have yet to see any Hellsing... too lazy.
Oh, and I watched Naruto for a while, like that more or less if only for the fights. And Bleach I thought was okay.

Re: Favorite Anime?
Deathnote - Interesting to watch an anime that involves something other than the typical cliches, plus I liked the ending
Hellsing - Awesome take on vampires, unlike most of the crap that comes from america.
Gundam X - Dunno why but this was always by favorite gundam series.
Gurren Lagann - Fun to watch and see how the main character always pulls out some attack that is 100x stronger than his last
Buso Renkin - A cool idea with alchemy and homunculi

Re: Favorite Anime?
Hellsing seems to be a crowd favorite, which I also enjoy, but it is very cliche with its immense amount of blood, gore and large breasts.
Naruto was good in the very begining, but once they hit like episode 9 I stopped watching (in japanese only... "Believe it" would make me want to kill an infant) I enjoy the Shippuuden episodes simply because they became a clean slate with me, and like the old show, I stopped watching after like 5 episodes...
Trigun is great over all... no complaints
Cowboy Bebop is old school, which gives it a lot of interesting qualities. Its good.
Bleach became a lot like Naruto, except I watched it religiously on youtube.com until the first episode when they entered Soul Society. The idea of using Shimigami's to add like 50,000 characters to the series just annoyed the crap out of me. And the fact that they all look alike makes it even worse. I stopped watching.
Fooly Cooly is my favorite anime of all time. I used to watch it when I was in Middle School at like 4:00 AM. It was just so insane that I couldn't not love it. Also I am very much attracted to the randomness of Haruko.

You must now die for thinking Hellsing is cliche, especially for violence. That makes like, what, half/three fourths of today's movie's cliche?
In other news, I forgot about Trigun, that's another one of my favorites. Wolfwood is just, To cool.

Re: Favorite Anime?
The violence in Hellsing is just so annoyingly over done that its just sad.
Or maybe its cause my friend fuels his ego by watching it and wishing he was Alucard.
