Re: Hero Contest Discussion
Of course you can, but it would be unfair to everyone else if I let you resubmit it for the contest. You can submit it to normal hero suggestions, though. I actually recommend that.

Re: Hero Contest Discussion
Are you planning on finishing the reviews?
"Within every world, there are cultures, within every culture, there are groups, within every group, there are leaders. These leaders are not truly chosen, they are destined, it is their fate to lead, and it is this fate that drives them. Souls yearn to be driven, they in themselves can not direct, however, these leaders are predetermined, by whatever means, to guide the wills and mend the errors of these wandering souls. A forest, cold, cured, flawless, meticulous, and fearful, what drives it, what keeps the balance? The inner beings of all the co-existant creatures swarm together, and every one is guided by another, in more a cycle, then a hierarchy. The eyes of a forest are always watching and guiding, yet the sun never sets on the forest, and it never shall." ~ The Chaos Theory

Re: Hero Contest Discussion
Yes, otherwise I would've just had the contest removed. I'm just a very busy person and reading heroes because I have to doesn't inspire much motivation in me. Spring break starts tomorrow night, so we'll see then.

Re: Hero Contest Discussion
erm, a quick note cause I JUST noticed a mistake. In my ult, I use Y twice when really the two values are going to be different. Rest assured I don't intend to move an enemy hero 10, or to have a 500 second maim. xD

Re: Hero Contest Discussion
I highly doubt that I would've graded you any differently for using the same variable twice. :p

Dunno if that's proper to get here, but You already reviewed him... As for Canum Unum's ward, Black Hole Sun. That idea, with visible circle in the middle is good imo. And if we suppose that the middle "visibleness" area can't be interfered, it could, for example, look like that:
Blue area is where you're invisible. Ward in the middle of those small, white circles ofc. This way, he wouldn't be able to do anything he wants near wards. If some hero's attacking his ward, Canus would have to leave the invisible area to prevent him from doing so.

Re: Hero Contest Discussion
It's even worse when they overlap one another, covering eachother's blind spots.

Re: Hero Contest Discussion
I think I made it badly ^^ The thing is, "if they overlap one another, covering eachother's blind spots", the area of blind spots (you mean the middle thing, right?) merge. But when the invisiblness area goes on the middle spot, it won't work.

But what a challenge for an expierienced mapmaker, ey? ;DThat might just be a bi*** to code

Re: Hero Contest Discussion
It's not necessarily hard to make, but I haven't even read half the heroes, so don't theorize how a spell on a submission might work. If he wins, I'll figure it out, but at this point he may yet not win.
